The Gaga Diaries

Lately Baby Gaga has been indulging the whole family in his new huggy/cuddly phase. Each instance is somewhat short-lived before he pushes away (nothing personal!) and is ready to go off exploring the world again.  So we’re all soaking it up while we can.  Here Bampy (Grampy) can be seen experiencing the wonders of Baby Gaga cuddles the other night. I snapped this picture quickly using my phone and love the expressions I caught on both of their faces. 

Not sure if this kiddo will ever actually eat anything when he’s at Grammy and Grampy’s house, but he sure does have a BLAST playing in his booster seat when he’s over there.  I have never seen such immediate concentration and enthusiasm! 

Why’d I bother getting a high chair again??

Another big week of developments for the incredible Baby Gaga… 

• On Sunday Papa Gaga and I were making over our little fella in the morning when our ears perked up and we both turned to each other and said, “Was that a giggle!??!” It was the tiniest hint of the prettiest sound we’ve ever heard.  It’s been in hiding ever since, but we’re anxiously waiting for the next time it will grace us with its sweet presence!
• Last night we had a sleepover at Grammy & Grampy’s and the little guy slept in a Pack N’ Play for SIX hours.  Straight!!! This is huge! To date I think four or five hours was his longest stretch and that had only happened once. I’m not sure if this was the result of a comfier mattress compared to his bassinet, part of getting older or perhaps just a total fluke? Either way you can bet I’m going to try to recreate everything about last night tonight!
